U.S. HomeSavers - iCore Capital Consultants, Inc. Rip Off Report Complaint and Rebuttal
Rip Off Report and Rebuttal
Dear Prospective New Customer,
If you conduct a proper due diligence, as you should always do, on a company before you buy a product or service, Google is the best place to start because you can get access to important information about "real companies" via Secretaries of State, The BBB and other valuable resources.
US HomeSavers' management has bent over backwards to maintain an excellent reputation by being as tranparent to the public, law enforcement and regulatory agencies as is physically possible.
Since the following complaint, more of a "flame" really, appears in the TOP TEN listings on a Google search for US HomeSavers, we wanted to post the complaint and the rebuttal on our site because the RipOff Report web site is often difficult to access. They have a LOT of traffic these days.

Back in the summer, my husband was trying to do a simple loan modification with an investment property he has in FL. Several calls to the mortgage company and no help from them. We got online a researched a few companies that specialized in this and checked with the BBB and a few other sites for any complaints or negative comments about the company we were going to choose before we did any business with them.
We called US Homesavers/I Core Capital Consultants, Inc. and got an info packet paid our $97.00 and spoke to the gentleman who said that he could help us. Well we got a phone call here and there for the first week and after that we had to call constantly to get ahold of this man. After the first month, no phone calls at all. That was in September.
We ended up taking care of the situation with the bank ourselves. I sent an email Nov. 7th to US Homesavers stating that we had taken care of this and that no further action was needed on their part. I was prepared to forget about the $97.00 we paid them for nothing.
Last night( Dec. 15) we got a phone call from a 'Malcolm Giles' who stated he worked for US Homesavers and that he wanted to talk to us about the mortgage. We questioned this gentleman about how he got our information and why they were calling after I had sent an email stating that we had taken care of this.
Mr. Giles got very beligerent (cursed) and hung up the phone. I got on Intellius and tracked the phone number to Scottsdale, AZ with some other info. I felt that this man was either sold our information from US Homesavers or was part of a phishing scheme.
If you need to do a loan modification, save yourself the aggravation, money and time and just do it yourself with your bank. You will be glad you did. Don't go to these companies that prey on people.

Rebuttal:
Dear Susan
You can't be in business as we have for six years and have no complaints but, up until now, we have managed to do so.
After receiving your very hostile voicemail message regarding your $97 application fee and Macolm Giles, I immediately called your husband, Randy.
I told Randy that I had indeed dropped the ball on his application for assistance as I was unsuccessful in finding a Realtor to list the subject property in Florida for a short sale. I asked that he e-mail a request for a refund of your $97 application fee which I never received. Your Application fee deposit is still sitting in our trust fund. We are not in the $97 application fee business.
Regarding Mr. Giles: I cannot believe he instigated any unappropriate communication. Rather, I believe you got upset with him about getting 'ripped off' of your $97. Do you think I would have sent your website submission to Malcolm if I had knowingly ripped you off? Not likely. Remember also that you and Randy are the ones who left an abusive and vulgar rage on our company voicemail.
The bottom line here is that you gave us no opportunity to make good on your refund for the complaint which I acknowledge was a legitimate complaint. However, if you are going to flame a person or company's reputation as you have here, you should have the decency to use your real name, location and the true facts.

US HomeSavers vs.Ripoff Report
by Curt Pifer
US HomeSavers has, up until now, been a huge supporter of the Bad Business Bureau better known as the Ripoff Report. In fact, our company provides links to virtually all consumer advocacy groups to include the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission. We have, in the past couple of years, also had communication with our own Texas State Attorney General's Office. It's all good.
Had these complaints been made through the real Better Business Bureau, we would at least had a chance to settle any dispute. Since the Rip Off Report does not offer any option to settle, we are retracting our support.
COMPLAINT RESOLUTION
If you have ever have a complaint about our company or any company out there, give them a "fair" chance to rectify or settle the situation. If you cannot resolve the situation amicably, do file a report with the local BBB where the business is located and the BBB in your area. The company on which you file the complaint does not need to be a member of the BBB in order to have to respond and resolve your complaint.
If your complaint to the BBB does not reslove your issue, file a complaint with your State Attorney General and the State Attorney General of the State in which the offending company does business.
Finely, if you are doing business with an out of state company that does you wrong, you should also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.
Please, also be aware that there are "counterfeit" HomeSavers companies out there using our good name to conduct bad business. We arer the one true US HomeSavers Loss Mitigation Service Company and we stand behind all of our products, services and information.
